Just remembered I've got some snaps of this years Revival at Goodwood. All the usual stuff's available on the internet, so I've picked a few that might float the Belletty boat. This is the first time all the original Silver Arrows have been together. Apparently Lord March refused a $million plus perfect replica of one of them, so Audi just bought the last remaining example from a Japanese museum. Ouch! Attachment:

Not just cars and planes, this year saw the Bluebird K3 hydroplane make an appearance. This Rolls Royce V12 monster got to 130mph in 1938. They even fired her up a few times. Note the original timber framed cradle. Attachment:

Yes Red they did take to the track, although only as a speedy sort of demo, you had to be there to really appreciate the noise they made. Have a look.... http://youtu.be/khe5wxOtVM8Part the way through the film, there's a brief shot of a couple of Hawker Hunters that stooged about for a while. Start planning OZ, assuming we get to race there a few more times in Rolie, we can get you into all the best areas, and make sure you don't miss a thing.

Rolie didn't run this year as it was the turn of the fifties cars in the St Mary's Trophy. So we're aiming for next year. In the meantime we've got him back from the rolling road and we've got a lot more power. There's more to come when we have a cam done. So we're set for Mallory Park next weekend. It's a long race...45 minutes, so there's plenty of time to assess the work done this summer.
