hi everyone Starting to get excited now !!!! And not only because 68Gt is bringing some rubbers.... Just got all the brake gear back for the Yellow Peril. Drums remachined, new linings and all wheel cylinders resleeved and rekitted. I think I must have driven around for about a year or two with seized rear wheel cylinders. New shocks will go on while I'm at it. Now I've just got to put it all back together. I'm sure the new braking performance will convert some of you Gt people back to the benefits of a luxury four door touring sedan (it is a Deluxe after all). I'm completely confident that she'll come to rest from 70mph on a dime...........err OK, would you belive a 50 c piece?.... a 50m strip of asphalt???? Alright.. some time in the near future???? I will be visiting the workshop up north next week and will see if there are any surplus bits I can bring along for surprises. Looking forward to seeing you all there. Hey Rod, I sent you a PM about my travel plans on the boat. YP

Yep Gt orph, you're right there but from point of view, one of the many benefits of making a commitment to be at the nationals is that it makes us do something to the cars to improve them or merely to keep them on the road and therefore saved from sitting around quietly deteriorating.
Thanks to Gary and Monnicca for organising this. You have indirectly (or directly?) had an impact on keeping these lovely little beasts in going condition.
I'm looking forward to it, in Tas I've onlyever seen 2 roadgoing belletts in the same place before - mine and Rods

So much Bellett activity all happening at once, The force will be strong........ Gets me thinking I should be doing something............. I did buy a tin of tyre black. And a new boot seal for Aunty Mary, I could put that in & stop the leak......... And I could put the better set of hubcaps on Doris, in case Tracy gets all keen & decides to drive Mary. (Gentle persuasion welcome.) Busy busy busy...........

Hi Glenn Looking at leaving Melbourne around 10:00 -10:30 Thursday 18 Oct. I'm going on the boat with the Bullett but Suze is flying in on Thurs morning and i'm picking her up at Spencer St station around that time. We'd planned on an overnight stop somewhere between there and Merimbula to arrive on the Friday. If there's a convoy around that time we'd be very happy to join it. YP
