as most of us would know, this year is the 50th anniversary of the great race being at Bathurst, and some teams have decided to go retro with their paint schemes to mark the occasion. About 10 cars will field paint and signwriting to replicate car raced there over the years, so it'll be interesting to see who does what...
Dick Johnson Racing has done one of it's Falcons as a take on the 1981 winning 'Tru Blu' car.
Both Ford Performance Racing Falcons are done as the Moffat and Bond coupes that were 1-2 in 1977.
The 3rd FPR Falcon is done as the 1967 race winning XRGT.
Holden Racing Team is yet to reveal their's, but it's rumoured they'll be along the Brock HDT Marlboro days.
888 is up to something, but i have no word as yet.
And Kelly Racing has done at least one car as an 'attempt' at Brock's 1969 Monaro if drove in his first race there. I say attempt coz Honestly... It's crap!
No word on whether anyone is doing the awesome Bellett of Treloar and Bond tho!
Should make for an interesting spectacle to say the least.

Lowndes' Commodore is done as Brock's 1979 Marlboro A9X.
Word is that Dick Johnson was still in negotiation with his sponsors to have the teams second Falcon done as the 1984 Greens Tuf Falcon, but as yet i haven't heard if they agreed or not.
Stay tuned for one of the best Bathursts ever!

And my 2c... GO THE MIGHTY FORD'S!!!

Just watched an interview with Colin Bond and he dropped the "we drove a bellett" in 66 and 67 at Bathurst " but we can't count those years. Nice to get a mention but with a slap in the face.
They also have shown a couple of Belletts on the old footage - great to see them rippin around the top of The Mountain.
