Isabell Grand Tourer wrote: The other question I have is if there would be snow on the roads. Maybe dumb question, but is the snowy mountains. Cheers Geoff See, not dumb at all! That cold blast that can happen anytime......happened. Thankfully this week rather than next. Snow all around Canberra on the hills, road closed at Crookwell (70km from here), and snow right up the range, even to the Qld border I'm told! Yesterday was the coldest October day for Canberra since 1964. (Thats in a Bellett's lifetime!)So there would be snow at Kiandra (where we'll pass through) for sure, but good news is we're looking at 25 degrees by Tuesday, so it will all melt away. (Though a short detour could provide some novelty play, if you're keen!) Parts of the south coast have had record rainfall - Ulladulla: 323mm in 24 hrs. Thats Queensland stuff!! Bega thankfully about 60mm, and a good soaking at Bemboka, which they very much needed. Now it can fine up & green up, just in time for us. Byoowdifuuuuuuull ! I wish you all a safe & enjoyable dot-to-dot too, and I have axles with bearings if the growl gets louder Stickman. Only takes about 30 mins to fit, for an old bloke like me. Is anyone bringing a computer, or are we on phones? Do you want me to lock in those pub rooms? I'm in town today. Looking forward to seeing you all at our dot. Cheers friends, Matt.

SOOOOOOO tempting..........
but......
I was supposed to be riding our Motorbikes around Far North Queensland for 5 weeks at the moment with my wife but work commitments sunk that ship (dammit)
So I cannot get away from the gridstone as they say.
Thanks for the offer - I would love to get down there and meet some or all of you one year.
All this Bellett chat is getting me in the mood to work on mine this weekend.
Cheers

Cheers Greg, I told the publican not to hold the rooms if he gets a rush, but he said thats unlikely, so they'll probably be available if needed.
Cheers, Matt.

all went well today we all made it to yamba we had a couple of hiccups but all good my car didn't want to leave the tweed hinterland bellett/motorsport museum from chev powered corolla,eh group n, a z car bound for bathurst hill climb in november but the star of the show was the bellett race car second to the gt in the back shed heavily guarded by brown snake we were told while Russel bonded with his old convertable while Dave cq finally found the other convertable and old yella didnt want to leave as half his bits came from this car, it had some moisture in the dizzy cap .We had a present for donkey that was presented to stickman at lunch today. nq Dave filled his car around the same time as the rest of the convoy and mentioned it was on empty, after light disscussion we decided that his gauge must not read right as the twin cams were still reading quarter 10km's down the road it was confirmed the gauge is correct wasp65 to join in the convoy tomorrow.

Looking good! Sunny too. It's warming up here too, 18 c today after 11 yesterday & 8 on thursday. Snow was widespread & closed a few roads. Had we been heading to Merimbula yesterday, we would have been blocked on any route. All melting away now though, 25 on Tuesday and 27 next Saturday! Nice. Thanks for the update. Stay safe, Matt.

We came up the range through a little cloud and a little shower only to find out tonight that they had hail in grafton during the day and further up the coast got it also . We came through grafton aroun 10/11 am
