BELLETT NATIONALS 2012 What a great weekend!
Approximately 100 people and 50 cars from all over Australia attended lunch at the BEMBOKA
BELLETT BLOKE’S SHED on the Saturday. They feasted on BEMBOKA PIES with jacket
potatoes and salad, many commenting on the famous pies and coming back for seconds!.
Bellett sedans, GT’s, Florians, 117 Coupes, Gemini’s and a Mitsubishi Colt were cruising up the main
street of Bemboka after a visit to ADAM’S PRESTIGE & CLASSIC CAR YARD AND SAPPHIRE
COAST HISTORIC CAR CLUB PAMBULA.
After enjoying many hours in Bemboka they ventured to BEGA CHEESE HERITAGE CENTRE
for a visit then back to MERIMBULA BEACH RESORT & HOLIDAY PARK.
EAGLE EMBROIDERY made all the polo shirts, jackets and caps proving to be very popular.
Saturday night’s dinner was held at OAKLANDS EVENT CENTRE STH PAMBULA with a 60’s theme,
much laughter and great food enjoyed by all.
Hippies, mods, rockers and surfies but alas NO STREAKERS!
Sunday was SHOW N SHINE, trophy presentation and raffle time. Custom made trophies were
made from Isuzu hubcaps that had been air-brushed.
Monday they visited Tathra, Bermagui and Tilba enjoying fish n chips in Bermagui.
Many had never been to the SAPPHIRE COAST before and commented on its beauty some
couples even coming to re-visit to buy in the area.
