Not me Davo, hopefully its the Broth!

Phone is still broke, Telstra have given a commitment date of April 17th !!
This monopoly needs to change.

Lucky we have this free sattellite dish or we'd be cut off! Goodonya Julia!
Shame we can't plug the phone into it.
Rant....rant....rant........

Now, don't be cruel!!
Surely it's safe!
Rotten two-bob phone company, drop-out rubbish mobile reception, can't get that familiar l-o-n-g laugh    that I always get when you make a new purchase!

You'll have to tell me 'cause we're not going to have phone for weeks. :x

Cheers, Matt.

Davo mate, they're just cruel! (Or maybe busy :? ) Well, I'll tell yez!
Gary managed a call to Milli's OPTUS phone, and confirmed yes, he bought a 99c Wasp!
Might be a bit rough, but all complete. :D And it'll cost a bit to recover, but a good excuse to visit Dennis & Marg.
He's waiting to see tha Chassis number - it's got exactly the same tray on it as his new one in 1967. Ya never know! The 20 or so known ones aren't it, so theres about a 1 in 100 chance it's the same one!
The seller was just happy that someone will save it from the crusher.
Knowing Gary, he'll have it running within a week or two of getting it home. It aparently drove to where it is, so no reason it won't drive again. The last 3 cars I've brought home were standing for 15 yrs/15 yrs/ 30 yrs and all started & drove after a little tinkering. 8-) More unbreakable than a Hilux!

We Smiths might seem like hoarders, but the main thing is they're saved. Then at least they'll still be around if someone needs one! Nice to have the luxury of space.

:D Matt.

So yeah Gary, did you get the car or what?

Also, who's after grilles and badges? I figured that most people searching for grills and/or badges would be known to us here!

that just sucks, i would be leaving some negative feed back. i must be lucky as i have never had a problem on ebay yet! its a shame seems that we all have lost out on this one, i was looking forward to seeing what you did with it.

Yeah, this is all a bit sad. My guess is he will sell any bits to people, then let the rest go to whatever scrapper comes in for the clean-up. Scrap is only about $100/tonne delivered at the minute, so he won't get much. The big shame is it will be lost, and it's too rare for that.
Ebay occasional sellers aren't too concerned about bad feedback I suppose, but I'd be concerned about my reputation generally. I suppose not everyone values that so much...............

I've had a somewhat happier Wasp experience this week :) but our camera is broken and I can't get the photos out of Tracy's phone into this computer, so I'll have to wait until tonight to show you all.
All I can say is, Wait until you see this one! BYEEWDIFUUUUUUULLL mate!
(In 'My Isuzu')

Cheers, Matt.
