Hi people, We've taken a few pics of Angove's winery with a view to letting you know what the 2013 Bellett Nationals Show and Shine venue actually looks like. Last weekend, McLaren Vale held the annual McLaren Vale Vintage and Classic; what they do is get all the cars together, have a grand parade, then each of the clubs or groups heads off to a different winery. The Mustangs on the Move Club went to Angove's winery, so not only did we take a few photos of some cool cars (and, I guess, some Mustangs...), it helped illustrate to us where we could put cars! The meals will be served in the area to the left of the photo; there is a large servery area and a wood-fired pizza oven. Just to clarify a few points about this meal: YES it is PIZZA. NO it is not crappy pizza... this is PIZZA COOKED BY AN AWARD-WINNING CHEF. C_H_E_F. Anyone who feels that their $53.50 Nationals fee is too expensive for chef-cooked food and the regular Nationals goody bag need not pay the money; they can buy some food from the bakery in McLaren Vale, but that money also includes venue hire, so also you have to stand outside the gate and just look longingly in, wishing you were there. YES there will be an ALTERNATIVE for people who are gluten intolerant, or simply don't like pizza. YES the ALTERNATIVE will be cooked by the SAME CHEF, so NO it won't be any cheaper. Attachment:

Looking to the left, more room for awesome Belletts... Attachment:

Looking from the entrance way, there is even MORE room for Belletts. The car park will be for public patrons only; we won't need to take up their space and they won't be banging into our cars, half drunk on red wine and selected cheeses. Attachment:

Bruno! Get outta the picture! Attachment:

Taken from the other gate, there is even more room for Belletts! Such a pretty venue! Attachment:

Never know what you might find... a nice Mercedes Benz 220S... Attachment:

Or even a... uh.... yeah (Messerschmitt KR200, I know). Attachment:

And we can even taken some super-awesome photos for you... using THIS: Attachment:

On the Messysmit, they're still making them, but all softtops - it's called the Can-am Spider .....
Cheers, Matt.

Hi guys, Just pitching in to agree with Dave that the venue is awesome. It's the first time that I've actually seen it in the flesh and must agree that it will suit us perfectly. Not only did we go down and see some classics on the weekend but Bruno and I basically drove the route that we will be taking from the caravan park to the venue and it is a really nice drive. It doesn't take long to get out of the city in to some lovely scenery like this: Attachment:

Plenty of nice rolling country side that Bruno's GT just loved to cruise through and sounded great as always. Attachment:

Then we arrived at the winery (with no dirt roads) and were presented with a great sight. The area around the winery is perfect for our purpose as can be seen from Daves pics (except that it's cluttered with Mustangs ) Attachment:

Plenty of room around the building on grass and not dirt, with only the side access road being unsealed so it will be easy to park the cars for the show n shine and keep them clean ready for judging. Attachment:

Anyway, as you can see it's a great spot with a nice relaxing drive through the rolling hills to get there. We'll have the drone up at the nationals too so there will be some interesting shots this year as well as at the Bay to Birdwood so be sure to be there and be part of the group shot for 2013! I'm keen and can't wait for the nationals to roll around, so if you're as keen as we are to have you all over here make sure that you book the caravan park, register with one of the organisers and get ready for a great weekend Cheers, Ross. PS the food looked pretty amazing too and smelt even better... I'm actually drooling just thinking about it now!

Hey all good Bellettiers out there. I know it's been a couple of weeks now, but between job interviews, bushfires and 'puter failures....... Anyway, Ross, Dave, Ant and Paul, I'm just so stoked to be included in the AWESOME group heading this year's historic Nats. And i'm finally working on some contributions Still excited about the trip to Angove's and honoured to have Ross as Co pilot in the little blue beastie for what was a great day and opportunity to stretch the legs on the ol' girl. Testemony to the little torque beasts these things are, even though less than 100 hp as standard . Really looking forward to seeing some of the Go Pro footage, belting hot dogs and all.... Angoves is a fine establishment, run by one of our best. Well, here are some more pics (now Brad has helped resize). Yes it was amazimg what else rocked up in the carpark, including yours truly which attracted more attention than 50 Mustangs

* and anyone else on dial up, which is no one, ever! Thanks Dave! Hey, now we have the NBN sattellite it's really fast to load - This page only takes about a minute now! Problem is though, each pic is 1 to 2 Meggybits, so with the old dish we only got 500 of those a month. NOW at least we get 4,000 of them! Hey, its no optic fibre, but very better than before!! Cheers, Matt.
