Nice work Matt hoping to see some love in "My Isuzu" soon!

Boo Gary that's so sad; blah blah my daughter wants it blah blah.

Well, it'll sit there forever/until Sims crush it and that'll be the end.

Ebay sellers are always pi$$ing and moaning about non-paying bidders... how about non-selling sellers! If you don't want the truck to go for $0.99c, then don't PUT IT ON AS THE MINIMUM BID! Reeks like bull guano to me! Sell or feel the wrath!

I've had my rant. Three beers and I'm ready to ninja for injustice.

Matt; looking forward to seeing the machine! Don't hold back!!

my post... my thoughts... my opinion...
smells of more than one rat all the way thru to me guys.
seems to me that this 'seller' mite have done some investigating after the auction end... and found he's got a rare piece so he'd try to rip more out of it. and probably more than it's worth in it's current condition too. we've all been there.
what's tipped him off would be others ringing to get the hard to get Wasp only stuff... grille, badges, etc.
so... someone in the know has tried to shaft our mate Gary, coz it's far to random that anyone would know what to ask for otherwise. surely they'll be known to us already, or will be come time to get their Wasp going. one day said person will let on about this, and i'll swoop in with my thoughts...
conversely, if the seller is keeping it, he'll have god's hell trying to get parts, help, advice, whatever out of me to restore it too, as will anyone with said parts that have, IMHO, been outright stolen.
folks, i'm proud to have been at the birth of this community, as it's not just built on mutual like for our cars, it's also built on friendships, trust and a genuine enjoyment of helping each other... definitly not BS like this.
the truly silly thing in all this is that with the car in Gary's care, no doubt if someone needed that hard to get part off it to complete their own car, he'd be only too happy to provide it. I've seen Gary do that with my own eyes, more than once, and not just with parts... with entire car too, so they've only stuffed it for themselves in the end.
if anyone involved in this saga is reading my comments has been offended... good, and don't whinge that u hadn't been warned.

Well said Brett, The real bad thing about this is that the parts will be removed and the rest of it will go to scrap metal, and we all know how rare Wasps are, so good bye to another one for ever. The culprit is obviously not prepared to spend any money on the car he has, or he would have bid on it. I also want to say that it was not one of the Wasp owners in our circle in Qld.

Karma will get him.

Cheers Geoff

Missed opportunity here Lizzie if we wanted to wreck your 3rd wasp someone out there wanted to pay more then 99 cents for parts  I would suggest if this is their budget maybe they restore matchbox cars. If this was done by a enthusiast it is a insult to the wasp community that they were not prepared to raise the 99c bid and win it fair and square.
It was not me if I was to buy a piece of it I may as well pick the whole thing up and at 99c it was tempting but the smiths were on it and it was a pain in the proverbial to go and get it.

it is fairly low, It sucks that this has happened to one of our bellett bretheran. would have been better to win it fair and square. I know when the guys say that they are bidding on something i stay away from it. (not that i am in a position to be bidding!)

just remember karmas got them covered.

I fully agree with PR91 with what he has posted.

Once you have got it, negative feedback him because as Ebay rule state he has broken a contract!

I'm with Josh.
Don't let it slip coz they are too damn hard to get. Pay the extra as long as it's not too crazy, and then slam him with feedback.
It's a breach of ebay sale on a couple of levels, so screw him.

Hopefully all will be well. I've offered to go the Broth halves, so that tells you the price isn't too silly!! Gotta be saved, just gotta!

Who knows how it all went, there are possibly a couple of Wasps out there that are not on here. :?: Rare spares can make people act without thinking. Problem with the feedback thing is a mate listed it for him as he's not an Ebayer, so we'd be punishing the mate.

Yes, thankfully the scrap price is down at the minute with our high dollar. Too much heritage has been squashed when the price was high.

Cheers, Matt.
