Gricey it can be said without malice When we had a meeting with isuzu sports for lunch we did a little thing that was not a belief of the Japanese I apologized for what we did. I explained we did not intend to be rude we just did not understand. I then told our yank interpreter that if we mucked up in public we pretended to be yanks This was translated with a huge laugh the reply was from Japan was we pretend to be chinese when that happens racism at it's best in good fun

Gricey Mine did not have them either, I thought that maybe they were after market from an earlier rebuild, but just wanted the thread to go away and did not want to excite Mr Bullshit anymore. Geoff

I'm yet to remove the front calipers on my Sport. Re-coed all the rest with NOS parts.
Perhaps the later cars at some point did away with the centre pin? Is there any other obvious (outside) difference in the Caliper, Gricey? One of those 'small' changes that seem to be made with time, in Bellett's.

brake guy that is a company called bhss I had some made with the wrong thread so I took them back and he said it was an odd thread and remembered they were mazda. I think I put there phone number in parts interchange under suppliers and contracted services. The other option is to change the ends to the common thread if I recall 1 is 10.1 and 10.5 cant remember the common one pr95 will know he just did it.

I think i would prefer not to do that as risky.

Brake pipe threads at the master cylinder and unions are the same as Mazda 323s and Lasers. Common as! My neighbor has 3 in his paddock and one supplied a pipe for the Florian. Florians don't have the threadless guide section on the nut like Belletts do. Mazda ones don't have it either.
Is this the thread you speak of or am I on the wrong track?
Cheers, Matt.
