Hey guys,
Nationals apparel orders are CLOSED!
Thank you to all that ordered; we ended up selling over 60 shirts to those attending and those just wanting a keepsake for the Bellett's 60th birthday!
I will post details soon on how to pay for postage for those that don't have someone picking up OR have not already paid for postage (some have worked it out).
But I have some other great news!
Organisers of the Bay to Birdwood have asked me (as Bellett.net liaison) to say a few words at the event. The formal MC will ask a few questions about the Belletts, about our enthusiasm and the 50th anniversary. If you are coming to the Bay to Birdwood, be sure to be at the main stage at about 11:20. It's early days; there may still be cars piling in at that stage, but the Belletts will well and truly be lined up in our fantastic area. The entire day disappeared in the blink of an eye last time; I can only assume the day will go just as quick this time!
So that's great news!
Last time around in 2009 we were all but ignored by the rest of the media; I invited Unique Cars and Wheels magazine to be involved (Wheels' Michael Stahl had just mentioned Belletts in a column he wrote), but got no answer.
Hmm, perhaps I should email UC now I'm on a roll!
Cheers,
Dave

The B2B organiser I'm in touch with says that their mail-out was supposed to go out last week but there was a hold up; they are envisaging their paperwork to be sent today or tomorrow.
Quick response!
Cheers,
Dave

See, I'm soo sloooooow! Number 450. Ah well, long as I got a number! Hey Dave, that is great news about the formal Q&A. Can't think of a better liason officer! You (and your techy mates) have done heaps to lift the profile and appreciation of Belletts with the advent of Bellett.net. And featured marque at Bay to Birdwood, twice, - Legend status! Cheers mates, see you in a couple of weeks. Matt.

I used Missy as a test bench on and off this week with some different maguires v bowndens products and obviously never mixed any chemicals that made it self combust I tried a few variants its was a interesting outcome I just hope the paint doesn't blow off when I drive her tomorrow and I borrowed the ol fellas wheels as he was silly enough to leave them here

You're entry should include a piece of paper that says "ISUZU" (the map says "Bellet"... I'm just waiting for that to cause confusion on the day).
It should also include a piece of paper with a red "A" on it.
The "A" is displayed by people who wish to do the Bay to Birdwood run, collect their plaque showing they participated, then return to Adelaide.
Personally, I can't see the point in doing that; you may as well not pay the $55.00, then go up with the rest of the run then go home and not collect a plaque!
Of course, it's up to people's personal preferences, but I'm hoping that if you're on the Bay to Birdwood Classic, you'll come into the museum grounds and park in our special section at the end, absorb the museum and the 1500 or so other cars, the rock and roll and the ambiance, THEN go home!!!
My red "A"s are already in the recycling bin.

Thats it! Ya gotta be in it to win it! Find a different day to get married or whatever would cause you not to stay.
Its great when people come up and reminisce about the one they had/knew back in the day, like when I was at Eastern Creek and a fella rocks up and says "I haven't seen one of these (Florian) since I sold mine!" Realy good to be able to take him for a couple of laps of the circuit. Nostalgia time!
Cheers, Matt.

I hope this one does not make it oz I am bringing ol yella down we packed him last night. The only reason this car would be there is If ol yella lets us down I can't think of a reason why that will happen so we rely on the gremlins within not to show there faces
