Donkey has a new friend to play with

It's "Gaza" the 1950 BSA Bantam 125 single cyl 2 stroke

Gaza was only fairly recently purchased (about 12 months or so ago) by a very close family friend (Gary) who acquired him from another mate of mine (John) who had owned it for 25 years. The bike is in very good condition with original owners manual, log book, service history and a few little parts that are usually long gone missing like the 2 stroke oil measuring gauge under the tank cap.
It has had a respray in the original colour and has a NOS factory decal kit with it plus an original factory leather key fob unused in it's original box....

A very sweet little bike

Way to go Sticky....that's quite a weapon. I can picture it here in Pomland.....peanut lid on, leather jacket (with a few studs).... scourge of the highway.

Some white Flappers and white stripe, and probably a rats skull to hang on the front and we would have a donkey foal.

How much encouragement do you think I really need

It will get a few mods 8-) but nothing that can't be changed back by bolting things back in original place
Old school Bantam bobber is on the cards for sure

Hey Sticky what a find!! A guy raced one of those in Tassie many years ago - He fitted a water jacket on it for cooling and it was a real weapon - as far as a BSA Bantam can be - it's now in a bike museum here. YP

Hey Yella how's it going? Been a while mate.

Yeh the bike is a cracker and runs at typical Bantam pace, hasn't been ridden on the road for about 20yrs though so I don't want to give it to much of a shock before I give the motor a once over.
I have plenty of bits just incase though ie full gasket kit, 20 40 and 60 thou over pistons and rings, 2 spare motor/gearbox units and a few other odds and ends.
Everything is still available cheap from the UK anyway

I agree GT Orp. can imagine Sticky with a big Ginger beard and riding down the road with the Hells Angels on his Bantam, white side flappers and a white stripe, and his suit case on the back rack with his PINK overalls. Maybe have to have a human skull on the front......That would bluff them.
