the interesting part is now Mr Bond suddenly has a memory of Bellett's when for years had denied to even have sat in one....
is actually 2 stories on there about Bellett's.
good write up's, but they have a couple of very minor things wrong. nothing important tho.
Mark Oastler wrote this one about the racing stuff, and Joe Kenwright wrote about the Aussie history of Bellett's.
Dave and myself had a lot of input into both articles.... but would have been nice if the author's had acknowledged us accordingly tho.
maybe the Journalists creed of 'not revealing their sources' comes into play
isn't that the polite way of saying that they didn't know a thing about the story they wanted to write, came to a couple of us that have the knowledge they needed, got hold of said knowledge and wrote a bloody good article or 2, then doesn't give credit where due so they can bask in new found brilliance?
mind u, it's probably the norm for journalism, so why should i expect anything else!
