:o Well spotted Davo,Tear Drop GT,always thought there was such a machine,as Pete up C/bin said he'd heard of one in the home land,anyhow spotted this Great looking Tear Drop on the way back from Xmas party last weekend,the girls told me I could have it cheap but did'nt have a trailer,Gerry ;)

yes reckon he was honoured in testing the car at the Isuzu testing track ....when there is a mention of only a handful made prototypes ??? heres another early gt cheers davo

That's a scan I did out of the Neko Publishing book; the front of the car is near the spine and I couldn't get it flat enough to come out properly!

Man, those teardrop lights look good on the GT; better than the hex-lights in my opinion.

Anyone keen to make a replica?!??!

LOOKS LIKE THEY SHORTCHANGED THE PROTOTYPE AND PUT THE SEDAN EXAUST SYSTEM ON IT WONDER IF IT JUST RAN THE 1500 MOTOR AND DIDNT TELL STIRLING MOSS ....WHY WOULD HE KNOW HE WAS ONLY A RACING CAR CHAMPION AND HED BE USED TO NOISY CARS THIS BELLETT WAS SWEET AND QUIETE ...JUST NOTICED THE EAUST ...SO WILL YOU HAVE BY NOW ...CHEERS DAVO

It's possible this is a prototype of the PR80 Bellett Coupe; they just ran a 1500 OHV motor... they were basically a Bellett sedan coupe! They were dropped well before the end of the PR90 run.

Was 8 built. All handmade.
I know of a 91 that's getting the teardrop treatment as we speak, so a replica of sorts is being done.
