This is a truly awesome brochure. It gives an excellent overview of the specification of the early LHD cars. I'm unsure if these are Canadian-spec cars or if they were also Dutch-market vehicles. The Dutch also got the Bellett Sport 2-door sedan, so if this brochure was for the Dutch, it would be reasonable to expect that the Sport would feature as well as the 4-door sedan. And probably it would be in Dutch!*
* at least that's what I would have thought. Now we have some Finnish people on the site and perhaps will eventually gain a few more who can give us insights into the European Belletts, I may stand corrected!
This brochure has fantastic amounts of Engrish in it. Every sentence is a perfect Engrish Haiku (see
http://www.engrish.com)!
First we have the hansome LHD-spec Bellett 1500 sedan, resplendent with Deluxe shields on the side, full Deluxe wheelcovers, tinted glass, stainless window mouldings and white wall tyres. Noticeable lack of rear-view mirrors, Jap-spec fender items or otherwise.

Happy Westernised Japanese familys, doing yachting and running around at the base of Mount Fuji in their non-domestic-market, non-RHD Isuzu Belletts!

"The Bellett's style is formed by the wide, long and low flowing lines..." Belletts are many things, but they are NOT wide!
"...unique all wheel independent suspension system for utmost riding comfort..." Utmost. Girt by comfort.
These sentences all make sense, they just don't quite feel 'right'.

That interior is fairly upmarket with full cut-pile carpet.
When driving this car, there will be "fatigue unfelt on driving, even for many continuous hours".
Note that the windscreen has "wide wiping wipers". This is a lie. And not well written!
"The screen washer affords refreshing drives after rainfall." That really speaks for itself.

Here is a full spread of the interior showing the ritzy Deluxe doortrims and Bellett GT-style arm rests, plus some more of that plush carpet.
"The interior colors are restful and beautifully matched."
A "much spacier" luggage compartment. "Deeper substantially" too.

More Engrish, a nice shot of the Bellett herbing through the Japanese hills, and some pictures to exhibit the technology.
"This engine therefore offers happy motoring with such power and zip which you wish you had sometime". I wish I had power and zip all the time!

Here's a little spread on the standard model Bellett 1500, with the pull-to door handles instead of nice big arm rests - it appears the standard is still carpeted unlike the Aussie-spec standard models, which feature rubber mats only, although the specifications at the back say that rubber mats are standard.
