Picked up Goldie this morning, took brats to Bribie beach, had m, heading home, then off to pa for 5 days of hospital food and blood fairy visits. Such busy lives!!!

And how did it feel? You had to have loved it! :D
Hope the whole hospital thing goes OK,
cheers, Matt.

Thx Matt,

I think twenty years out of mid sixties small cars and driving around newer modern cars has spoilt me a bit.

I remember that all the Belletts and Wasps that I used to own where much wider and less cramped than Goldie. I think I must have owned the "wide bodied" versions back when I was 30

It brought back memories of loud exhausts, squeaky windscreen wipers, dripping water on feet (hit a huge rain shower on the way home), sticky accelerator parts (just gotta give'm a tap at the traffic lights), old seatbelts (not retractable), doors that just don't click when their closed, window winders and centre consoles that dig into your knees, groups of young 20 something trial bike riders at the country servo pointing and saying loud enough, "What's that? Groovy baby!", letting wife drive precious car and hoping she can handle the gear changes even though she's deaf as a post, driving thru the soaking wet muddy paddock at farm doing wheel spins and donuts accidentally, and saying to one's self, "mmm, when can I buy another one?'.

So now I'm stuck here eating hospital food until Friday and thinking where will I drive Goldie next?

Such is life.

We could go and have a sticky beak at a tear drop in Toowoomba maybe?
Steak lunch at the Spotted Cow could also work.
Then take the Crows Nest road back to Fernvale.

I have spoken to the Tear Drop Man tonight and we are welcomed to drop in on Saturday after lunch.

Where did you want to meet up Greg?

Great day out.

After finishing at the Warwick egg farm and having successfully put Julian dates 3.5 million eggs for the morning it was off belletting.

Met up with Greg, Liz and Russell at toowoomba and headed out to Keith's place.

We all had the sticky beak over each others cars. Great little tear drop!!!

After leaving almost three times we headed off down to esk for the end of trip ice cream, photos and byesbyes ( even if handshakes are prohibited 8-) )

Good day. Thanks guys.

Ps the brats were bored to death but yar get that.
