Car(s): '72 Sport Bellett (imported 180912), M/B AMG A35, i30, had Belletts in past, 2 sed, 3 GT's.

But I'll add it to the list of things that can wait for when I have 5 mins as I have much more important things to do at the moment.

Well done Davo. You've been ferretting around for sometime now, and you hit the jackpot. When I work on my cars I used empty marg. containers, plastic bags and boxed them in groups. Boot & bonnett. Front doors. Rear. Dash. Front lights. Rear. Interior etc. Cleaned up all screw threads. That's a tedious job. But. End result is full satsfaction that the screw or bolt isn't going to break when reused. By the way. Mentioning breaking bolts. Buy yourself a cheap tap & die set. Clean all the threads as rust builds up while the car is standing and any paint overspray gets into everything. Found also that at times you undoo a bolt the thread picks up and jams it. The "up north GT" may still have a few donor parts. Going by your pictures, maybe not. You know where it is.

hi guys just had a visit this avo from greg and liz ...we talked about things.... belletts ...both gave me the advice what to do with the gt ..motor out and sus it out .... /tower rust fixed ..paint flywall etc ..and away we go powder coating bits etc ..I have a plan and must stick to it ..thanks greg and liz ...it means a lot I am a retired car detailer ...not real good on the mechanical side good on the cleaning up sides ...it will be a nice little car completed ....it is a 3 bearing motor will need an overhaul ...cheers davo
