Hi Everyone
Rod and I are looking forward to having you all over here in Tassie. With an invasion of such a varied collection of wonderful machines, and I'm feeling rather magnanimous so am including Donkey in that description, the locals (to most of whom we're related) will see that we actually have some like-minded friends :P :P.

We'll be waiting for you as you come off the boat to assist in navigating the maze of traffic lights and roundabouts to our destination during the early morning rush hour.

It will be important for you to stay in close convoy as there are about 2 left turns, three right turns, a roundabout and a set of traffic lights to negotiate. The latter impediments to free flow were put there by the $#@%$&& traffic engineers last year!!).

Thought about coming across a few days earlier so that I can 'pre- run" and "pace note" the section. Is fuel available (petrol not coal ) at that end of the island ?

Passage paid! The boat was filling up, so had to get in there. There is a big cycling event about the time we are crossing. (3 weeks before the nats.)
"Red hot deals" are available for the return trip at the minute, so do the comparison. B.O.A. fare was cheapest for trip over.
All up $1203 for 4 of us in a cabin with 2 cars. Pretty OK I reckon.
Getting excited! :D

Plenty to do still, though.
Cheers, Matt

moving house Bruno not property, Liz and I are building a 2 bedroom granny flat on our property as we want to travel in the near future so we are setting it up now. I cant leave hear as my toys call it home and retirement villages don't have 20 car garages . It was along term plan thing but we thought the dramas we had with council in the past it would never happen I kept saying this to Liz and she went to council and with the builder submitting it things went through. They even approved another shed [Isuzu orientated man cave] and office. Problem is the house is only at slab stage and we have someone moving into our place this month.

Aaaand. He wouldn't be able to work on the cars as there is a curfew from 7.00pm to 7.0am. Aaaand no noise from 1.0pm
to 4.00pm as it's Nanny & Poppy nap time. Not even allowed to work on it in the living room.

Dave.

Hi All
Will be great to see so many Bellett in the Apple Is in October
One word - 'Targa'
The north has some awesome roads!
Of course we will all drive to the legal speed limit
For those who like to get to the speed limit with spirit in keeping with the sportiness that is 'Bellett', may I suggest a morning visiting Scottsdale (East of Devonport) then through 'The Sidling'
Hella fun
James

The Sidling is a great drive James, followed up by the drive into and out of Cethana, just South of where we're staying. I'm sure Steve and Peggy have organised some interesting countryside for us to explore. We could spend weeks having fun just driving the Targa Tas stages. And for our visitors with low compression motors, if they look hard enough they might just be able to find Standard petrol still for sale.

It will be great to have so many Belletts in Tas.
