Hey Stickman,
Did you even know that pic with the tattooed maniacs was even taken? Or was it taken when you weren't around and then just randomly hit the 'net!??!?
That Florian posted back in September is a bitza by the way; 1968 front with earlier (and better, IMHO) 1967 tail lights!
Cheers,
Dave

Totally random find on the net by a mate of mine. He found more apparently of randoms posing with Donkey but that was the only one he sent me. Donkey was waiting patiently in the carpark of a favorite swimming hole and these painted dudes must have taken a liking. Mind you it happens everywhere I go in him, if I go to the local shops half a dozen people stop to take photos. Sometimes if I'm at the car they even ask if they can sit in him for a photo I had lunch on the weekend with some friends at a popular cafe and there was a constant stream of people stopping, pointing, laughing and taking photos of him. My friends couldn't believe how much attention he attracts. Carol Bloor reckons she'll never drive behind him in a car cruise again or park next to him in a car show after the B2B as she said nobody even saw her & Russ or any other car 200m behind Donkey as people were still watching him drive up the road pointing and laughing a few others have made similar comments.

Maybe we should all adopt some of Donkey's patina on our cars to get more recognition Having said that, I've been out in Blue Beastie on my RDO's. The weather and temp has been perfect and she is going hard like a pack of wild hounds.... Anyway, I pulls into a servo and there is a policeman in an unmarked car also fueling up. When i walked out of the shop, he has done a full mainy and parked infront of my GT. Hmmmm......I'm thinking I'll get some scrutinearing next, not the sort of attention one would like. His window goes down and the jolly police dude has the biggest grin and says; "Well I'll be a monkey's uncle. Haven't seen one of those since my dad owned a Bellett sedan from new" Then says, "those were the first jap sedans to do 100 mph, they had the best motors, tough and awesome....etc, etc, etc." So 10 minutes later with traffic banking up behind him, we part ways, and Blue Beastie has made his day. Possibly not the right forum to share the next pics, but i know you are following this thread Sticko, so these are for you.....and yes, it was Xmas at the Nats last September. The new plate light surrounds are on with both lights working. Cheers for the awesome cosmetics dude. B.

Ok so it isn't a Bellett or Isuzu for that matter but I had to share this Prince, or is it now more of a pauper?

That poor Prince!
I'm sad now... I'll have to go out to the shed and give my GTB a hug.

Does the leftmost teardrop in the 4 group have an automatic badge in the grille? Could be another sister of Doris!
Cheers, Matt.

They're listed as accessories in my PR91 GT parts manual...maybe I should try ordering some!?
BTW, haven't started the process of making replicas as yet, but I reckon I know how I'm going to go about it. Stay tuned!
