Our new house is about to start being built and we need to be close by. I might try and turn up at the Ferry terminal though on the wednesday as i think most are leaving that evening? Perhaps others from Vic who are not going, could do the same? [although i am unsure if there is room to park close to the terminal, to see others there?]

PR91 wrote: Anyone actually know who's going and how many / what cars as well? Just curious as I was asked the other day. Hmmm, its a good question. In Adelaide last year, most were saying they'd be there. Some absent said they were saving for Tassie. Stuff happens, and priorities change. I know many will be there in spirit. Those that will be there in the flesh? Well, I can count 11 owners that are definately going, including myself and Gary Carter. Ironic if Queensland is the most represented state! Surely there will be more, and we will be there to meet them all coming off the boat on the Thursday. We leave next monday! Woo Hooooooo! Cheers, Matt.

So........I might need a slab then? Tassie has lots of apples, so maybe it will be cider. But they have lots of hops too......
Hang on, its breakfast time. Can't be having this for breakfast! What about a nice tin of Milo?
Cheers, Matt.

Does anyone have an itinerary of the Nats schedule as yet? Some will arrive at the last minute so they should know where things are to meet up. Cheers

The first run is on the Thursday, starting from the arrival terminal in Devonport. We will be there to welcome Gary Carter, Gricey, and hopefully many others, and join the run. Steve and Peggy have mystery destinations for breakfast and the whole day, but I trust their judgement. I reckon they know the place pretty well. It is an early start if the boat runs to time - 6.30am. Glenn, there is plenty of parking down at the dock in Port Melbourne. I reckon they would enjoy a send off. People can park up and go on board in convoy if they so desire, just get together in the street to sort it out before hand. Once disembarked in Devo there is plenty of space to gather together if people are separated in the parking 'garages'. Its all pretty cas. Declare any gas bottles and dont bring any plant matter. Have I said it before? This is a great place!! Cheers, Matt.

The other thing to remember is you are not allowed to carry fuel, and if you do have fuel container needs to be filled with water. I found out the hard way. and another thing for us canetoads is from this Sunday the paint on your cars will fade........ Daylight saving begins. Geoff

I'm waiting on Donkey's radiator to come back so I can do the first leg of the QLDer roadtrip, before doubling back to catch a plane to Perth. I have to at least roadtrip at Jamba...... It's killing me that I'm missing out on my Bellett family vacation If worst comes to worst I'll drive 'Dingdong' instead
