Well Guys I have done it!! I have changed over to the new MU-X ISUZU, Pearl White Auto to pull our Caravan. With 1 year of Warranty left on the D Max, I decided to change over last Friday, the MU-X with 5 year Warranty will be ready for me to collect Tuesday next week. If you have 36K cash, you can have my D Max! Can not wait to get back on the open road after it is run in (a little)!!

Correct Glenn, with the economy of the D Max and MU-X, I don't expect a problem, pulling the block of flats, I could still cover over 500 klms with the D Max, with 65 liters I expect to cover 400 klms. Where do you find over 400 klms without fuel? During all our trips we have never gone that long not being able to buy fuel.
I did consider that issue, it is the only fault I could see, however would be a small issue. While travelling we never pass a major brand fuel stop without fueling up! A policy I learnt from my brother and magazines I have read. The MU-X comes with a bit more technology including climate control, all glass is already tinted.
I could not knock back the deal Glenn, it was far better than I expected to be honest, not all the deal on here for obvious reasons! Dave.

OOOOPS, forgot to put that in 4 X 4. They have already received magazine awards as best 4 x 4, under 60 K. There are so many on the road already as well, everyone I have spoken to likes their choice!
Watch this space next week for photos.

Glenn, the dealer is Orange Motor Group, gets you guessing eh!! Far better security, complete with alarm as well as the dark tinted glass, you don't notice just how dark it is when driving. D Max had 48,556 klms, it was quite amusing they could not get over how clean it was when I picked up the MU. All or all bar app. 6000 klms were towing the van with great economy. I know where a set of new D Max wheels that I like are, I am thinking about swapping them over?? What do you think? Dave.

Be a shame to take it on the road Dave Not sure about wheels. I generally just stick with makers wheels unless 'ugly'

Nuh, NONE of that shit, I simply look after my vehicles as use them as they are designed when necessary, that is why I get great trade in deals when that time arises. This one will do me for a number of years this time. Had the MU been available when I bought the D Max, I most likely would have bought it then, in saying that the deal was so good it was too good not to take up. My D Max hardly had a mark on it even though it had been around Australia, playing in the sands of WA and touring Queensland towing the caravan.

Well picked out Rod, yes that Anderson socket is essential really with all the free camping we do. I hope to be in your State in 2016!!

That will never happen Glenn!! LOL. I like the smoother appearance of the D Max wheels, the wheel nuts are covered, the colour is much the same.
