Thanks friends, and a merry Christmas from us too.
In Sydney we have the longest day of the year, about 14 hours worth. But its noticeably shorter than at home. I guess in Sweeden the days are very short, and cold would be nice for all the traditions of Christmas. Fortunately we have cool conditions predicted, (high 20's) so should be good for the big roast!

Love and Bellett fun to all!
Cheers, Matt.

you are right! December 13 is the shortest day of the year, but now it gets brighter every day that passes. I live so far south you can come in Sweden so our days is about 8 hours light but in the north it is dark all day, do not understand how they cope...

Sorry Bullitt there are unfortunately no water pump but it's a master brake cylinder from Holland! :D

1968GT: He has so far to go so he became thirsty!!

What a nice picture Asroc66 that is what I dream about 8-)

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year everyone! :D

I dont know how you stand it mate! Sydney was 25 degrees and not so humid down on the coast. Real nice, mostly just sat and ate and drank and talked and watched movies. After Church on the day, pressies opened and I got me a shiny new tension wrench. Sweet! And 54 episodes of the classic 60s series of Homicide. Lots of street scenes, but no Belletts in the first 4, but so many long lost vehicles like Renault R8, flouride, Triumph TR4, Zephyrs, etc. The cops drive Studebaker Cruisers, shiny and new. First episode was Oct 64, so Belletts were just out. Looking forward to working through all those episodes! Gotta love the holidays!
Cheers, Matt.

Well Staffanstorp seems pretty nice. Its cold, but the countryside would look like the cards we send each other. Yes, we still have ones with snowmen and icicles on them! And some of us turn the airconditioning up high, so we can have a big hot Turkey dinner!

Lulea is a bit extreme though, -22 everyday! Reminds me of Darwin, every day the same, but its +37! And a storm every afternoon!
I reckon I'd like to visit Lulea, dark and frozen, it would be amazing.
I'm amazed at how people cope. Just as I'm amazed at how people cope with Darwin. Sorry Neil, but a person would just have to love sweating!

I hope you had a great Christmas, with plenty of HOT food!
Cheers, Matt.

Glenn, I did not know you were so wimpy  ... a little cold no one death of... or.. yes it has probably happened... :o

1968GT Yes now it's finally goes in the right direction!! :D

Farmer Matt Staffanstorp is pretty good! right size village located between two major cities Malmo and Lund, so you do not have all the fuss.
Lulea I had not managed to stay in the winter when it is dark almost all day. But in the summer, I would like to go there when it's light around the clock, my 61 VW bus has been on holiday there twice 1961 and 1962 so I would love drive up there with it but it is so far.
Christmas has been great hope you had a good Christmas too! :D
