Davo best to replace both at the same time, 67gt knows a place on the NSW central coast where they can be re furbed, I am going to get a pair done, reasonable price too I believe.

Hi Dave,
. I got mine done here on the Central Coast as Dave said. I can't remember the exact cost, but I think it was about $70 for the pair. They use the original top and bottom plates and rebond the rubber to them.

Hi all
Have a nooooob question
Can the engine mounts be replaced / swapped out with the engine in the car by jacking it up?
Can u do one side only without releasing the other side or not
I need to change the drivers side?

I'm pretty sure you can mate. I haven't done it for may years, but from memory....
Take out the carbie to firewall throttle linkage, undo the nut on top of the mount, and jack her up. Only has to go high enough to clear the stud in the mount. Might have to watch the fan on the cowling too. Hmm, can't remember if you have to take the gearlever out through the floor. I seem to remember the bolts hitting the floor.....but its a long time ago.
I reckon you will do it ok.
Cheers, Matt.

Thanks Farmer
for the record...piece of cake
Drivers side engine mount
Take load of engine with trolley jack under front main bearing cap
remove 4 bolts retaining engine mount Bracket
Slide bracket out
Replace engine mount as much easier now bracket off car as can access with a socket
Reverse procedure
Done and Done

Cheers
J
