Just looking through a few Tassie Nats photos. I'm bad for taking lots of car shots, but here is one of Andrew on 'The Nut' at Stanley. Attachment:

Yeah the hill was pretty steep, and the wind! I have a short video of him being blown by the wind rushing up the cliff, and leaning against it. Here is a still from it. Attachment:

Tracy studdied The Nut in a high school geography excersize and always wanted to go there. It was great to have Andrew guide us around and explain lots of the features. A fountain of knowledge. Attachment:

Andrews passing was a great shock to learn of especially whilst I was in Tasmania, I like many others shall remember him for nothing but the great times we all shared with him during a couple of Nationals. Sincere condolences to Sue and Family on the tragic passing of a really nice guy. We shall always remember him, Cheers Steve & Peggy.

I don't have to work, low price fares cropped up, and your encouragement made the decision easy. Thank you for the offer of a lift down from Lonnie. That I will enjoy. I will see you tomorrow. Thanks, Matt.

I've tried to shift an install job back to next week so as to be there but unfortunately it hasn't been possible to change. So Donkey and I will be having a quiet moment at 330 then going for a cruise in the countryside

Hello all. I have just got home this afternoon after something of an epic trip. A train trip, a flight, a drive with James across the state and back, a bus run, a boat trip and another train trip. Although a sad time, I am very glad I went. So good to have some time with James, another top bloke. It was a privellage to hear so many people speak so lovingly of Andrew, he has touched so many. A teacher imparts some of themself into those they teach, and when they are a person of the calibre of Andrew, that is a very good thing. His much loved yellow sedan was on display in the foyer of the Funeral home where the service was held, near the signing books, such was the recognition of his love of cars and racing. I am glad he has a family of car lovers.
After the memorials, we were told of Andrew's donation of his organs for the relief of suffering and life saving potential of those on the waiting list. I have a good friend who is awaiting a heart and lung transplant, and she is young. The need is very apparent to me. This great man has given of himself for others. I am privellaged to call him friend. Love, Matt.

And we thank you for seeing the trip thru to stand by James and pass our condolences on to Andrew's family.

UNBELIVABLE A few months ago we mentioned holiday plans to central Australia to the Grices and later they ask if we wanted company. On our travels we left Birdsville and did the simpson desert it was close to two weeks no communication other than sat phone. The joke was when we got internet what happened in the world we were disappointed that not a lot happened and laughed about it. later that night our moods changed as I sandbagged bellett net to see a fresh announcement from Jame's about Andrew's passing. We sat around the fire in shock and spoke of this many times around the fires since. How sad to see such a nice bloke move on. Now is the time to reflect on the past but more so get that bucket list in order and get it done. Tonight we are home from our travels and our first opportunity to log on. I like most here only had small contact with YP but that was enough to work out he was a top bloke and will be missed. RIP Andrew
