Nice to have the interweb back after 10 days out! Pic of the shed, finally with a 'crete floor, which is so very nice too. Also nice is messing with Dobby. Pulled the clutch master cylinder to bits today and ratted through my kits and found some seals. Attachment:

I think that all of them have been discovered before but no one has showed any interest at the time and have been forgotten about. Hmmm, now how can I make this happen? Step one, please send me the details Kerry. Step two, considerations and discussions with my lady. Step three, transport. Hmmm, .....Nationals....Bob the truckie.....hmmm.... All good fun. Ouch! That hurt.
No not a small emu egg, from a caged chicken egg producer. It wouldn't fit in the carton.

@PR91. Ahh, sounds like a 'customer car'. Yeah, being taken from Bellett work would make it seem worse. @GTtoo. Great pics, thanks. Hey Gunna, note the wheels? GT typeR. Something that is taking me away from Elf work. Attachment:

I have one of those side projects...... however it would be about 4seconds slower on the quarter mile and about 140-160 MPH slower over the distance too. Mine however is Bellett bodied and powered by a 2J turbo

This is one of our workmates "Blinky" the virtually blind Kookaburra that comes for a feed at lunch some days. He's almost totally blind in his right eye but only half blind in his left eye so at least he has that going for him. He's pretty funny to watch flying as he crashes into things a fair bit, like tree trunks, shed walls and occasionally even people (like us when we feed him) He can see (slightly) but struggles a bit with his depth perception, sometimes he goes to land on something (like the bandsaw) but misses it "by that much" and just drops to the ground like a stone. He has a couple of Butcher birds (also locals we feed) that catch and bring food to him too but he is an independent little bugger though and tries to do it himself, much to our amusement. He's been blind for at least 2yrs so I guess he's doing alright, better than most feathered friends in his position I guess. Attachment:

What I can't believe is just how much the cars themselves have changed in just 10 years.

What I can't believe is just how much the cars themselves have changed in just 10 years. If I go an 8 (would be an LS turbo) then I have to cut the front up too much and I want to build it like the Puerto-Rican style of Pro Compact car where they run full steel and full glass (windows/screens) I started this one a couple of years ago but then sold my shortened Hilux with 4 link setup and 1600HP 2JZ with powerglide (I had an urge to be able to keep eating at the time) to a guy who now has it in a KE25 Corolla running a 8.4 quarter. I doubled my money but I'm pretty well back to square 1 I now have another 2J engine (only 1100HP this time and no box ) but the rear end is now looks to have to be a fabricate all over again job ??? will keep the feelers out though for a similar setup. I have been offered (" really cheap" as he's allready up graded to 20B turbo) a ready to run 13B turbo engine n box setup (950HP, 8.2ET in a 1940lbs car) but still leaves me in the same boat with the rear, but I would have to sell the 2J again to afford it (almost, kind of who am I kidding) It's a long term project that may never see the track but I plug along at it where and when I can
