What a great day! My Nationals have started already with Stickman visiting this morning and Dave helping me clean out a replacement Florian carbie this afternoon. Fitted it up and all good. The old carb had cracked the bowl and was leaking. A bit more preparation work tomorrow and we are all good to go. Fantastic! Matt.

Such amazing faith in our machines, Mattie. After Crew 1 left the hills of SA today under fine but blustery conditions, would be partying tonight with everyone, BUT,,,SA slumped into darkness after torential rains and outages big time, just because the power was sold to the VICS....Ha another debate later . Crew number 2 not far behind and there is another crew to land in Albury soon. Ciao Bella. B.

And to top it off, yesterday morning Donkey ate 2 Galah's for breakfast at 80MPH near Moulamein and one of them smashed his drivers side indicator lens (an early series one at that ) I think I might possibly have a spare one buried somewhere in a box at home or at my brothers place but that is beside the point...... you would think a suicidal Galah would have would at least aim for something easier to replace!! See you all soon

Only just noticed this afternoon when getting to the Siesta motel. I was actually looking to see if a Magpie Donkey ate 40Km out of Albury had done any damage on the passenger side (none thankfully) when I spotted it......

Yeah Davo, thats the same car! Owned and restored by Jim Barratt in Sydney. We're sorry you're not here too mate. Its just so good, you don't know what you're missing. Really! I'm loving it. Great cars and their enthusiastic owners. The Griceys have done a most excellent job, great venuse, great runs, great food, and tonight a barbie at their home. A big group in a nice sized entertaining area, so everyone was involved in conversation. All about the people. Wouldn't miss it. EVER! Cheers, Matt.
