Hi Davo, I don't have a spare horn wire connector but I think I have an original fuel line spare. I'll have a look, cheers.

Hi Davo. Your configeration of the fuel hose is not correct. Normally the flter is before the pump. Not after as you have. The filter stops any grit getting into the valves in the pump and the carby. What you need is the steel line that goes from the pump, over the thermo. housing and to the carby. Use that filter that you have with shorter hoses. Not the "around the world" length that is there. You can carefully bend the fuel line coming from the tank to suit. Whatever happened to the original filter that you found a replacement element to go into from Supercheap.? If the fuel line that Lewis may be looking for is the 1 that you need and he cannot find. I may have 1 here to get you out of trouble.
Dave.

Hey mate. The original lines were plastic, and all of mine have gone rock hard with age. Doris' one split on the way to Gnoo Blas last year and I had to gaffa tape it up. I took one from another car for rego, but I should have some made by pertek or someone. Your metal line should feed into an original filter housing, then the plastic one connects the outlet side to the fuel pump. To be original you should get a metal line that goes from the pump to the carbie.
The horn connector, I could cut one from a rusty car and you could solder it in. Or you could just use a female flat blade connector and cut a little groove in the plastic cover.
Cheers, Matt.
