Most of the Belletts sold in Australia , especially the earlier cars, had vinyl (very tough vinyl) floor covering.
I think only the Deluxes of later years had carpet.

Interesting.
I have understood that in Finland Teardrops had carpets but later models (since 1966) had rubber cover on the floor.
I believe my car had original rear part of the carpet, only the front is self-made.

The original cover was in 2 parts or 4 parts? The gearbox tunnel cover was separate?

That is correct mate, the rear carpet is a single piece running across the floor and up under the front seats. The front has a transmission cover which has a blanket stitched edge and overlaps the two footwell strips which run from the engine firewall tongue reinforcing tube under the seats.
I will take a picture of me original ones in my teardrop soon and add it here.
Cheers, Matt.

I would really appreciate if someone could give me good pics of the carpet and floormats.

I have some improvement on the interior, but the carpeting (and the ceiling) need to go on to keep up the pace.
