I didn't notice this little tube & fittings till I removed the oil separator,what does it do? equalizing tube?

yep, feeds oil, under pressure, from the block to the valve gear in the head.

Figured I add this to the what does it do post, is this for the battery tie down? or tell me where it's supposed to go, maybe if someone could get a photo of one installed?

could be the tightening clamp that sits under the carby tightens the cleaner onto the mouth of the carby ...my two bobs worth .... davo

see acting stupid on stage is one thing ..being stupid is another ...now im thinking why did I sell my little car I have pics of the so called immaculate one . :evil: ah well but I must go and look sometimes under that dust n dirt ..we shall see ..oh the carby thing ..yea guess it was like on the old sideplate holden air filters and the falcons had it as well ..did I tell you my dad was a panelbeater /painter in the era of those bits ..guess I retained the knowledge ..geez life is a learning experience ...davo ;)
