Hey everyone,

This is not a car - but this is what has been taking up all my spare time over the last 8 months.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lnvRSLLEazI

A custom built chopper with Ultima 127ci motor (based on the Evo Harley Motor)
6 Speed Right Side Drive
Enclosed Primary
Dakota Digital Dash
250mm rear tyre

In between moving out of my house, getting married, demolishing my house, building a new home with my lovely wife Bernie and work of course!!

Cheers,
Neil

See, blokes CAN multitask! - Well, some of 'em! :P
Bike does sound good! (I've got bike brothers, but I don't have any. - yet.)
Any chance of some stills on here?
Also, I don't think I've seen any posts in 'my Bellett' (correct me if I'm wrong).
Then again, I can't talk on that score. Time.
Thanks, & cheers, Matt. :)

I watched that vid at work and showed my chopper-loving workmate behind me. And he was disappointed that it didn't explode or something. I'm like, "come on - not every video on youtube is stuff exploding! I know this guy (well, thru a forum) and he's just started his chopper for the first time!"

He was humbled.

Attached a couple of photos of our Tasmania Trip 2010 with my Wife Bernie (Pink Harley) and best mate Marc (Honday CBR600 RR).

Trailered the three bikes down on a mates trailer behind our new car (bought 2 days before the trip as I did NOT want to drive the work Hilux single cab ute 3500km)

Cheers,

The chopper has hidden shocks - but I am still an inch shorter after the "beautiful" roads of Victoria - man I was winded a couple of times.
It would have been great to catch up - but there were a few of us.

Yes she is a "Bitch that knows Everything" - no not really or I would not have married her. :)

dont mention the roads down here mate................

the road over the adleaide on the vic side is a shocker, to name 1 of the many, many, many. we trailered my GT over to the nationals last year (09), and u should have seen the damage it had from just slamming up and down on the barge board across the front of the trailer. thanks god we went over on thursday, as 3 of us spent a good couple of hours fixing it over there on friday, in the caravan park!

while u become accustomed to it living here, i couldn't believe the difference in the roads once we crossed the border. simply, u knew u were interstate, as there was a virtual line across the road where our crap roads finished and the SA 'freeways' started!

i won't begin a rant about how we are the most fined-thanks-to-speed-cameras state in the country, and how they claim that money "goes to road maintanence.....", yet the roads are worse now than ever................................

and yep, wives like yours (ie: into cars, bikes, the normal guy domains) are scarce. that's why i keep a hold on mine too!

if you're ever down this way again, give us a yell!
cheers.

Hey everyone,

Here is the finished product - the Matrix graphics were temporary stickers on the undercoat so the bike looked okay to ride around Tassie for 5 weeks - it seemed to work too. We rode the bikes off the Ferry and went to a local Scottish Breakfast House (Maccas - spew) and a bkike magazine photographer spotted it and wanted to do a feature on it and handed me his business card......that was within 15mins landing in Tasmania - whew.

Anyway here are the update pictures of the final product that I finalised this weekend - I am blown away at it and still cannot believe I built it.

The colour is House Of Kolor "Organic Green" over silver basecoat - I think it should be Orgasmic Green as I have only seen this colour in magazines before and it blows you away in person!!!

Bike is still going good:

I did the Toy Run at Christmas - here is a little on board footage with my redback spider toy strapped to the headlight:

There are 3 parts but pretty much just all bikes in a line.

If you have every visited or lived in Darwin you will probably notice the huge changes in the buildings and roads.........enjoy.
