hope no one minds, just thought it would be interesting to put up all the wasp chassis no's and see whose is oldest and youngest that we know of:

Farmer: 8006070
KJB: 8006167
Dave: 8006203
OPR-910:8006691
Waspy87: 8006856
GT Orphanage: 8007838
P.R.90: 8007957
PR91: 8007958
PR91: 8010978

looks like PR91 is in the lead so far! if anyone else knows of any feel free to post them in here as long as no one minds?

Hey I've checked my Bruce A Ruston Signwriters Wasp and stuck in in there. Yay I'm third (earliest, anyway).

Just on that, the Wasps seem to be all over the place, which is weird as they were thought to be brought over in a single batch.

The Bellett GTs, while more common seem to have some closer chassis #'s with PR91, GToo and my GT's all within 6 cars of each other (each two cars apart!).

I'd be interested to know how many KR10s there are left in Japan. Methinks not many.

hmm that is a bit odd. im guessing they just picked all random wasps, not as they came off assembly line?

topic editted to add OPR-910's numbers, and all the V8 dreaming has been given a topic of it's own in the "Off Topic Nonsense" section.
cheers.

just editted the chassis number listing, as my 'parts' wasp number was wrong....
i had it listed as 8009278...... nope. i have no idea where that came from.......
is 8007958...... the next number after P.R.90's wasp!

so i've found 'sister' GT's (and a few of them now that i've got the data base underway), 'sister' sedan's, and now 'sister' wasp's too.
awesome!

dont mean to be a pain, but are u sure that number is correct?
is just that it's over 2,000 earlier than the lowest number is all.

cheers.

Hi Brett i can do this i have to get them again, when i picked up the wasp and a sedan the deal was a gt body shell came with it well it was that badly rusted that the vin no was gone,on a positive note i got door tops glass a rear screen and a couple of other bits. There are another 6 sedans i will be recovering yet they are badly rusted but there are 2 autos, 1 column shift man, 2 deluxe most have good interior most 66/67 and 1 teardrop it will take some time to get them home but if people need something pm me and i will try and supply it,if not i will shelve it. no panels are rust free to my knowledge so they will be stripped and sent for scrap.i will record the vins for these also.
the tear drop will be here after the 15th dec as a 66/67 depends on which is the easiest one to winch out.
p.s i want door tops for both deluxe cars.but these are the hardest to recover.
btw all parts come with a free snake. you can choose what type .
