The screen was already out, as I'd say it was leaking, small pin hole left hand side, a little bit of rust but what can you expect on a 42 year old car. This was preparation for the new rubber to go in. (thanks for the rubber Greg)

With a great amount of words the windscreen was fitted, without chrome trim. We decided the windscreen will come out again once the rubber has moulded around the screen better and we'll have another attempt at fitting the chrome.

Tuning the Carbies, ten minutes of running and the water pump goes, lucky we had a spare in my old deluxe sedan, but needs modifications.

Absolutely wonderful seeing a car that has waited so long for it's finnishing touches get them. Great job fellas! Heading for Coonabarrabran I hope? I gotta see it in the metal! BTW, I reckon you got a good deal on an appreciating investment that you can enjoy NOW! Cheers, Matt.
