we wish!
got a bit more done on her today, seatbelts back in, cleaned the fuse box terminals and put new fuses in now surprisingly everything works as it should! Put some new wipe blades on to replace the moss encrusted ones as well.
re torqued the head bolts (some were quite loose). Adjusted the latch on the bootlid so it actually latches! cleaned lots of little odds and sods, lubed all the hinges etc so the doors hopefully swing nicely now!
tommorrow i plan on washing her...

father in law is already muttering about clearing out his shed so i can paint it properly! (although i am rather fond of the rat look)

well guys had a brown trouser moment in the little beast, coming home from work and went to turn left at a reasonably busy roundabout. next thing hit the brakes to slow down and.........nothing happened except my foot hitting the floor! BROWN TROUSERS! well successfully negotiated the left turn without hitting anything, very close call to a nice $$$$ 4 wheel drive though. Managed to pull up and get the car stopped (all the way i was going was a minor down hill slope). And the Lady in the 4x4 i almost hit stops to apologise for not seeing me there! Alls well that ends well and i survived and so did the Bellett.

Big thanks to Oz_toffa for helping me out with a couple of parts i needed, and after getting the wife to help bleed the brakes back up, The Bellett is ready for the road again!

Yeah, Mount Barker. I work at Woodside.

First time I saw your car I drove past and thought 'no, that can't be a bellett' but after seeing it a few more times I knew I wasnt dreaming.

I'm also a member on Gemisa.net under the same user name.

You've been busy mrfibbles
Good luck with it, you've got a tight schedule. While you've got the head off it's a good opportunity to give it a valve grind. It always gives a noticeable improvement for the sake of a few hours - time permitting of course!!!
