Gasp, Swoon I haven't ever seen one of those down here. I reckon you should give it a gentle warm bath, then massage in some Armourally preservey stuff, then put it in a safe place to bring out on display days. Or send it down to me & I'll do it! Special! Cheers mate, Matt.

It does need some cleaning up, I've been careful with it as some of the rubber bits are starting to come off ... so you'd give it a happy home eh .... Later Mark

Fuel tank - it was in place with rusty hardware, epoxy,& caulking ...there are plenty of pin holes and corrosion. I found a local repair shop and enjoyed taking it in and getting the "whats this out of?" .. a what? ... never heard of it, haha, he taps on the tank a few times and say's "it seems to be made well"

Yep the toyota wheels from the 70's fit the Bellett.
The YP has 14 inch given to me by a friend who said they were off a mid-late 70s Corona - I'm assuming the first of the ones with the 18R motor. Don't take this as gospel as I'm only passing on what he thought they were off but they were definitely Toyota. The rim also permits a slightly wider tyre.

Thanks for the comments YP - I love the wheels on the yellowperil they look great.
It was a very productive weekend for us here with the PR10, Dick sent over a used wheel cylinder to replace one that was a bad leaker. so we have that installed eveything buttoned up and after fixing a couple of leaks at fittings.
and yes we have working brakes!
to make it more fun we started her up put it in reverse and went backwards .... then first gear ... we go forward ... and it stopped ! now the little beast moves on her own power !
additionally we changed the distributor cap, rotor, spark plugs, and fixed a stubborn broken choke cable.
Cheers Mark & Jeannine

Excellent news! Onwards and upwards! Soon you'll be able to drive around town confusing people and getting the 'So, what is that?' conversation everytime you're at the pump! Fun days ahead Cheers, R.

Fantastic news about the brakes. I like to like the shape of your car (I have a soft spot for 68 Dart 2dr sedans as well). So what's next for the Fiugerd Jolie Cheers Rob

Yeah, why not start a poll? I'm for some modern bright colour like you see on micro cars like Nissan Micras, or flashy Aus V8 HSVs & FPVs. So many cars come in 12 shades of silver & grey these days. (Blurgh!) Cheers, Matt.

Hey guys
All colors are being considered and as much as I love silver and greys there are alot of cars with these shades, chrome yellow would really stand out ... I found a pale medium blue under the flasher on the front wings ...... maybe
