Hi all. I know I should be loading Nats pics, but I gotta tell you this. This afternoon I met Dave (my local car mate Dave) in my driveway. Dave is the bloke that found me "Barn Find" just 20 k's away.(Down the Maryvale road) He says "I found you a car". "Not another Bellett?" I ask. "No mate, but I wasn't sure so I brought you the Grille"................... Attachment:

"That's a Florian Grille!" "I thought it might be, The badge is missing off the boot, but I thought it was about the right length" he says. "Not down the Maryvale road?" "Yeah, but down the end". That puts it about 30 k's away. What ARE the chances? Next he shows me the tiny photo on his phone. It's a small taillight '68. I tell him it's the only one I know of anywhere. Then he tells me the property is being sold and all the old cars have to go, so it's probably going to be real cheap. Might have to go for a drive! The bad news? Some parts are missing, and one of them is the roof! Yep, Shooting Buggy! But maybe it has some good bits, and after I got my first Bellett others seemed to show up. Perhaps Florians have a homing signal that attracts others too! Now, I gotta find Dave a photo of a 117 coupe................ Cheers friends.

Keep Dave around, he's an Isuzu good luck charm! You've gotta post pics of a Florian shooting buggy when you go get it, that will be sad but as you said might be some good bits! Thanks for sharing

I finally got a couple of uncommitted hours, so Gary Carter & I went for that drive. Lo & behold, Soot'n Buggy! Well, it probably was a cool shoot'n buggy once, but it's been let go a bit............. Attachment:

My guess is it's a low number. Taillight lenses marked 67. This one is a fair challenge. to find, but too! Cheers, Matt.

What's with the FB? When we arrived it was having lunch........... Attachment:

Looking inside, we found lots of bits - 4 doors, Bonnet, Front Bumper, even the removed roof section and 'A' pillar are there. Why'd they chop that? Maybe it was in Zeke's rifle swing! And I suppose you take off all the doors to make it chase 'Roos faster. Most bits are there, except the motor, and the 'box, and all the front end, and..... Whaddya reckon Mr Fibbles? You got enough bits to make it work? Attachment:

Oh, and a mint Fordson Super Major tractor, which I probably shouldn't show my neighbor's son - he's been collecting a LOT of tractors... Cheers friends, Matt.

I reckon MrFibbles could have used some of that for rust repair on the one he had ! The FB looks like it could be salvaged quite well !!
Cheers Rob
