Looks like it is original paint, has some rust issues, but no huge dents or big glaring problems like being wrapped around a tree.
No reserve indicated.
I think it says the seller was restoring it, did a bunch of repair work, and now wants to sell it.
Current price is 105,500 Yen, which is a bargain for a running car, especially considering it is a Fastback.

Do it, hit Import Monster up for it. If you're in doubt give Dave a call or PM he's been using that site to death lately!

Cool car; looks like it does have some issues tho....

Has the wrong grille for a start! It better come with the correct grille!

Cheers,

Dave

Wonder if you could make a replica grille? The factory fastback grille was always a bit of a dog IMO, the PR90 or Deluxe grille (?) is an improvement, if you can stomach non-originality!

PS: Someone should look into replica hubcaps, hardly anyone has their original caps (as with this one).

You sound serious about this one, OZ. If you made it happened, would this be the only GT fastback in "OZ", OZ !!??!!

It would be a massive addition to an Adelaide Squadron.

Good Luck,

B.

Have checked import monster and j-spec and would rather use j-spec as import monster seem to be very expensive.
They are looking at the providence as it is not listed and can be a problem when it comes to be exported.
Cant prove your the owner and it hasnt been stolen.

Have to wait and see.

If the standard pattern repeats, since this auction has a bid, there will be a deluge of bids 15 seconds before the end time.

I'm not going to be surprised if this car goes for about half the Eagle GT-R did, and then shows up next week, auctioned by Eagle, with a picture of the Fastback sitting on those $120 Watanabes I missed out on last week, and a picture of the orange car next to it, description saying "Car shown unrestored, but sold with a restoration, reserve price $40,000".

Naw, cynical would be:
Since I am not bidding on it, it will sell for nearly nothing, be shipped halfway around the world, and end up parked across the street, sitting on those Watanabes I missed out on, where it and the wheels will mock me until the day I die.

(On an unrelated side note, the price of gas at the pump will drop tomorrow, because I filled up today. And the price will jump as soon as the gauge in my car hits "E", just like it did yesterday.)

I went to see what the end price of the Fastback was, and the page is gone. So, either it didn't sell and the page automatically folded to prevent anyone from knowing, or it did sell, and the page automatically folded to keep anyone from knowing.

Update from J-spec.

Vehicle has no provinence so they cant get import approval for it.
They can still container ship it but it would not be able to road registered.

Quote is for $12,000 landed.

As much as it do want it, rather have a car that can be driven on the road.

Bummer indeed!!!

OZ
