Hi everyone

Thought I'd share some more photos of the early stages of the body restoration. This set is the good, bad and ugly at the beginning of last week.

This time they are sized for easier viewing.

Thanks for the encouragement everyone. Rod, you're an exception, I know Burnie well, spent 20 years on the NW coast and will find out where you live -that's a threat not a promise

I thought I'd show some more progress in photos below for you all just so you don't think I'm sitting around with Stickman reading old Morris Marina road tests
These are of the front guards which seem to be the ones that always cop the abuse no matter what car you have. Since I took these they have been rubbed back using primer/filler and guidecoats so are now only a few hours off final preparation for the topcoats.

Good to read that you QLD people are OK. YP

Yep mrflibbles,

I understand your position very clearly and it is an age old challenge for all of us.
As a kid in the 60's I remember my mum complaining to dad about "how many more old cars do you need"

I will always remember his very considered and measured response: 'How many sets of ear rings do you need'?
