Hi everyone

Some photos of progress on doors, boot and bonnet below. That'll be the last of the bodywork for a while. The last photo shows the panels all safely packed away. The "workshop" is 220 km north and it is back to work  and the engine block and then head to follow. They take up somewhat less room at home.

You're pretty much right there Rod.
It's in Westbury but I work in Hobart. I'll let you know next time I'm there so you can drop in if you're passing by. I'd like to see your Gt as I've never seen one close up.

As regards your Gt being all stipped down, after it's all done we seem to quickly forget all the work that went into them...... Otherwise we wouldn't start on more of them.

Hi Dave

I don't know what the blue is called and I can't find a paint code anywhere on the body (or on the yellow peril for that matter, when I resprayed it I had to get the yellow matched at the paint shop).

The family consensus is that if it is to be raced it needs all the help it can get (and me I think) so, following conventional wisdom, it's got to be red. A metallic silver stripe will also help I'm told.

While I'm on-line I thought I'd post a few pics of the front end of the engine block along with marking out the required timing marks on the front pulley.

Hi Gt

A short story relating to colour.....
I have a son who has lived on the mainland for 10 years and I have 2 daughters one wife and a mother in who live in Tas.
That's a perfect formula for being told that you are colour blind so any decision on colour doesn't include me - from sox and jox thru to cars :?

Thanks for the replies and encouragement.
