appeared on a japanese site. wasn't easy to find, i can tell you that much! only real info i've found so far is that it's a pic from back in the day, and is from the "Tokyo Metropoliatian Police". OK.... so who's now building a replica?? would be freakin' awesome!!

Any more quirky super cool shots like that I would LOVE to see!
I will have to post a shot of my front end mods I had planned for the green machine before Coona but never got round to finishing. Dave will love it as when we were walking home from the pub on the Sat night I was telling him and he flipped because he thought he was the only one to think of it. (stupid enough too anyway)
Involves half a dozen over riders. Not hard to guess the outcome.

Yeah, pushes my buttons too Brett. I'm sure Daves "Ginsu Province RAT taxi" would have given those cops a run for their money.
Awsome, B.

Hey now here's the strange thing; that pic that Brett put up of the cop car.... I saw that pick on Yahoo Japan via Import Monster. I clicked on 'buy' as it was cheap-ish and I thought it would be an original photo or something along those lines.
Then Import Monster tells me "the seller won't have these until January" and that was back in September or something... so I waited... and waited.... then forgot about it.
Then last week in the mail box what should appear..... the model that JT191 as put up!
It's a 1/64 scale which is a scale I promised not to collect as it's too small and I have about 60 1/43 scale models....
But now I have it. Hmm about time I bought some more 1/64s to go with it...
Dammit!

I successfully proved as a 19yo that an 1800cc Gemini van with 205s on the front and 155 burnout stockies on the back cannot outrun a VS Commodore police car. I had 6 months loss of licence and a broken rear axle to prove it. The ratter would have no hope. It has 155's all 'round. Perhaps a car with 205s all 'round would be OK. It's all in the tyre choices, you see....
