Eeep those front blinker lights are basically unavailable here in Australia as we basically didn't get your model (there were literally less than 10 brought out here I'd guess and they're probably all in Tasmania!). Have you tried Dik in Holland? He can be found on the Web if you do a Bellett search.

Engine is out, just needs degrease and water blast in engine bay (and removal of all the shit like horns, fluid bag etc) and it is going to my mates workshop in the weekend and I wont have it back until the new year in its fresh white paint Will update periodically as it goes through welding, patching and primering stz. Nice thought to know I dont have to touch it for 2 months! Note newly discovered hole in chasis rail lol! Will have to have that patched along with the sills and shizz.

Whoah that's a fair-sized hole! Thanks for all the updates; it's been good to follow the progress of this car for the short time you've had it.

Bugger about the chassis rail hole I think we've all had to deal with rust down there at some point though! Can't wait to see her in the new year, all nice and sparkly. Thanks for the updated pics R.

Hi Alistair, great work, keep going. Looking at the photo's of the rear transleaf spring it appears to be installed upside down, if my memory is correct to w plate should be to the top and locates with a rubber shaped the same, this may reduce the pos camber a little. Prior to me obtaining a factory competition transleaf, we use to have two, sometimes three transleaf springs clamped together, hard to describe though they started with the spring tensions oppisite each other and then clamped, then for a little more neg , we would place either another larger rubber between the leaf and the wishbone mount, or if this was too much, one of the smaller rubbers, these little adjustments are dependent on driving and or road conditions, if i get a chance I will post a photo of the factory rear transleaf, regards Geoff.

Would be great if you did have some pictures, I had a thought that it may be installed upside down when I was first looking at the camber issue.

Hi Alistair, attached are photo's of the factory rear transverse spring, its a little grubby under at the moment, as you can see they have 4 leafs set at progressive lengths with the lower leafs ends curved slightley upwards, this set up also uses smaller diameter coils ( Isuzu racing ) unsure of their poundage with Isuzu racing shocks

The sedan only has the one leaf spring from the factory unless it's the race trim one. I'll get a picture from my '69 sedan for comparison and then it might be worth moving this discussion to the Tech section as it's going off topic a bit Good pics of the multiple leaf rear though pearcesnr. Do you have a photo to show how the car sits at the rear with that setup? Cheers, R.
