The slim line plate on the front looks very tidy.

A nice touch Rod
The slim lines on the front are really the way to go.
I reckon you've got by far the best Gt in Burnie :D

Dude you were lucky; how many Falcon GT owners would have been after that!??!

nice rod!
dave.... i know exactly what u mean mate! when i wanted a set of plates for my GT when i was restoring it in 2007, anything decent with "GT" was long gone...... hence, probably to a Falcon GT owner.
that's why i ended up with "JPR-091".... might not be "GT" to 90% of the world, but to us bellett-heads, is obviously "GT Bellett".
(the "J" part is because bellett's were sold here in vic around the time of "J" perfix plates. my GT's original reg was actually "JYO-434", so is pretty close to what i got.)

now if only vicroads would allow normal plates to be used in conjuction with club permits, i'd be able to use them.... and "STUNG" would re-appear on a certain green Wasp too....

Brett and I thought the same way; my GT has RPR-091 as R-series plates are about the right era, no other reason. I Managed to score RPR-020 for my sedan and RKR-020 for the Wasp, so I have the whole series.

I didn't get RPA-020 for the PA20 Florian as RPA is too hospitally thanks to the television series RPA (Royal Prince Alfred hospital), so I got RJC-348 which was my Mum's initials with her March 1948 birthdate. Bizarrely, the only other Florian I know that is registered in SA has RJC-156 or something, which was it's ORIGINAL rego!! Mine is from NSW, so never had R-series plates here.

Lucky for us in SA, we have whatever plate we want with club rego.... there are SOME reasons to live here.

Not trying to go off topic though! I think Rod is lucky to get the plates he got regardless as I would be sure some invester would have them if a Falcon GT owner did not already!

Good work!
