Hi,
Just inviting anyone interested in gathering somewhere central - West End is good - there is a nice park with a carpark nearby - just to meet others with the interest. Sedan will be reg'd next week and used as a daily driver. Got an interesting front indicator assembly replacement for the late models to replace the old white ones....fits right in with small amount of technical expertise and suits the era. Will post pics and info after the weekend.

I'm not in brisbane but I'm sure I'm not the only one who's a bit keen on seeing your indicator solution...

Hi everyone we are the Capalaba people you are mentioning. The grey GT is owned by our daugher and her new husband and is called Noddy (Gt not husband). Noddy is on holidays in Melbourne for restoration. We have owned our blue GT PR90 since 1974. It has been used for several weddings over time including our brother (brother-in-law) and several Club members and now our daughter. The other GT used at wedding was also once in our family. Currently in garage etc:- Wasp 1965 under slow restoration 1966 1/2 sedan for real enthusiasts (3 bearing engine) original condition not much to get it on the road. One owner previous to us original receipts for purchase etc. 1966 GT PR90 slowly slowly half restored. Hoping to taking this on Club event in the next couple of years.
Are interested to talk to others and meet when time permits.

Haha thats amazing! yes well im 22 now and i used to see a lady drive that grey GT everynow and then when i was about 17 i didnt know so many in people had them in qld i, currently in the process of restoring the body (some paint and panel) and modifying my GT a fair bit ie: dash/interior and also the engine as its a 2ltr turbocharged DOHC but needs some tidying up and some new technology parts as it was built some time ago.. But would be keen to meet up and have a gander at your cars!
