Re: HJ GTS Coupe

Very nicely done, looks the part and sounds like it goes alright too! The fuel rail idea is really good solution!

Re: telementary

Nice idea. In terms of the ECU code there is a message schedule table that is used for the BCM anti-theft stuff, it can be modified and adapted to automatically schedule a mode 1 frame to be sent automatically fairly easily.

Re: Eprom memory bank switching

Nice pictures :) If you are running the same code base there shoulc be no hiccup at all, idle or full throttle. The only difference being the calibration data and how that effects the engine. Running a different code base the engine must be off and really should disconnect battery to clear the RAM b...

Re: Eprom memory bank switching

The best way is a 4k7 or 10k resistor from VCC to pin 27 (Address Line 14). Then ground the pin 27 to select the lower address range, 0x0000 to 0x4000 - in terms of ECU memory mapping thats 0x8000 to 0xC000. Leave the pin open and you will get 0x4000 to 0x7FFF (0xC000 to 0xFFFF). Remove the pin from...

Yeah that would be the one. Pin D8 would be the likely input for a wideband, the factory narrowband O2 input is D7.

Re: Who would want wideband integration

This is a feature that is high on the list of to do's. First step is to have the wideband value as a part of the ALDL frame, keeps it nicely in sync with other values :) I will be releasing a $12 based bin shortly with some extra communication modes, once thats out there work will begin on getting a...

Re: Haltech E6X no spark?

The DIS-4 is a CDI igntion booster, handy but if you have a resonable inductive setup it may not be needed. But you will still need to add an ignition module between the coils and the haltech, it can only drive a module not the coil directly. May also need different coils if they have been changed f...
