Engine conversion Mazda bravo V6 ecotec
Hi guys hoping someone can help me out I recently acquired a Mazda bravo with a vs Ecotec in it it has a engine wiring conversion kit I can get it to crank over but no engine light or spark but when the engine light dose come on very nearly I get spark me and my 9yo daughter the key turner would like to get it started I have a external pump in a fuel drum for fuel supply I'm not sure if injectors are firing when we had spark has no way of checking I have swapped fuses from the fuse bank all look good and all have power when tested with a light I have looked at the company's web site but could not find much information below is a pick of the harness and a few pics of what I'm dealing with any help would be great thanks guys

I would take a guess that the memcal needs the VATS (vehicle anti theft system) disabled. If you can take the cover off the ecu and get a photo of the memcal and see if there are any stickers or writing on it would help to confirm.

Memcal had no stickers or writing on it

I would guess it may be stock and require vats off. Can you remove the blue cover and take a photo of the chip?

Was the car running with conversion? Try probing one of your injector plugs with your test light while cranking or buy one of those Noid test kits from supercheap or repco for around $70.
